To the Editor:
"If I don't have this done in three years, then there's going to be a one-term proposition." These words were spoken by President Barack Obama three years ago on Feb. 1, 2009. He was explaining that if he doesn't have the country's economic problem reversed in three years, he doesn't deserve a second term.
The national debt has risen more than $4 trillion. That's more than any time in history.
You have the opportunity to help decide who our next president will be. The caucus on Tuesday, Feb. 7, begins this process in Minnesota. In Martin County, the Republican Party will meet at the Fairmont Holiday Inn at 7 p.m. Please come out and join your friends and neighbors who love this country and want to make it better for our children and grandchildren.
