To the Editor:
I want to thank everyone for the terrific Business Government Summit held recently, at which regional businesses connected and networked.
Business contacts were made from as far west as Worthington and as far east as Rochester. From Iowa north to Brooklyn Park. Great conversations on organizational thinking, leadership, true team focus and problem-solving techniques that work.
A big thank you to Scott Ward, Dr. Jim Walters, state Rep. Bob Gunther and Sen. Al Dekruif. Politically, Gunther, Dekruif and business people were able to have discussions about creating jobs, education, skill gap and options. As well as business retention and expansion, local economic development, health human services, collaboration reform and how to create a pro-growth, pro-business state.
In April, in Mankato or North Mankato, the next business and government summit will be held.
