WINDOM - Rebecka Lynn Kneeland and Dens Derek Sik were married Aug. 27, 2011, at St. Francis Xavior Catholic Church, Windom. The Rev. Russ Scepaniak performed the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Douglas and Sharon Kneeland of Windom, and LuVerne and Margaret Sik of Elbow Lake.
Maid of honor was Amie Shirkey of Fergus Falls, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Abby Thor of Woodbury, Katie Axford of Windom and Erica Wohlenhaus of Detroit Lakes, friends of the bride, Tracy Amoo-Gottfried of Marshall and Olivia Sik of Elbow Lake, sisters of the groom. Junior bridesmaid was Haley Sik of Marshall, niece of the groom. Flowergirls were Mariska Amoo-Gottfried, Makaya Amoo-Gottfried and Ashlyn Sik, all of Marshall, nieces of the groom.
Best man was Nick Torkildson of Fargo, N.D., friend of the groom. Groomsmen were LuVerne Sik of Marshall, brother of the groom, Craig Kneeland and Danny Kneeland, both of Windom, brothers of the bride, Evan Blind of Davenport, Iowa, and Aaron Wohlenhaus of Detroit Lakes, friends of the groom. Ringbearer was Malaki Amoo-Gottfried of Marshall, nephew of the groom.
Guests were ushered by Zachary Bartosh of Windom, cousin of the bride, Andy Sik of Tracy, cousin of the groom, Drew Johnson and Joe Nelson, both of Fargo, N.D., friends of the groom.
Wedding music was performd by Colleen Ortmann, organist, and Robyn Willard and Jerry Zins, voalists.
A reception was held at Windom Community Center.
The couple plan to live in Fargo, N.D.
