To the Editor:
The project "Stuff for School" met its goal of $3,500.
Our sponsors came from all over Martin County. These sponsors are from service organizations, banks, manufacturing plants and individuals who want to support the youngest students in our communities. A special thank you to all sponsors for their support. A list of these sponsors will be given to each family and school. The approximate total of kindergarten students is close to 290.
At this time, I would like to thank the 3M CARES retiree volunteers, and the Chamber of Commerce staff for their time and effort. This type of support from the community shows our students that we value them.
