FAIRMONT - Kaylynn Origer and Lee Steinkamp, both of Rochester, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
Parents of the couple are Tony and Kris Origer of Fairmont, Loren Steinkamp of Alleman, Iowa, and Allison Porter of Ankeny, Iowa.
Kaylynn graduated from Fairmont High School in 2004, Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa, in 2008, and received a master's degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Neb., in 2010. She is a physician assistant in hospital internal medicine at Mayo Clinic, Rochester.

An Oct. 1 wedding is planned at Fairmont United Methodist Church.
