SWEA CITY, Iowa - Brittney Allyse Schroeder and Matthew John Looft announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
Parents of the couple are Roger and Barb Schroeder, and Aleta Looft, all of Swea City, and Mike and Staci Looft of Armstrong.
Brittney graduated from Hawkeye Community College. She works at Jim Gage and Co., CPAs, Bancroft, and Looft's on 9 Mini-Mart, Swea City.

Matthew graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2009. He is manager of Looft's on 9 Mini-Mart, Swea City.
An Aug. 13 wedding is planned at Bethany Evangelical and Reformed Church, Ledyard.
