TRUMAN - Jacqie Sackett and Paul Malzahn announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
Parents of the couple are Jim and Daphne Sackett, and Arthur and Carol Malzahn.
Jacqie graduated from Truman High School in 2004, the University of Minnesota-Duluth in 2008 and Lakes Superior Community College in 2010. She works for RE/MAX 1, Duluth, and is training to be a certified medical assistant.

Paul graduated from Maple River High School in 2000 and served four years as an MP in the United States Marine Corps. He works for GCAC, Duluth, and is training as a helicopter flight instructor.
An Oct. 16 wedding is planned at Spirit Mountain, Duluth.
