FAIRMONT - Stephanie Cross and Daniel Link announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
Parents of the couple are Mary and Byron Day of Fairmont, and Jenny and Bob Link of Mabel.
Stephanie graduated from Martin County West High School in 2003, Winona State University in 2008 and Tamkang University, Taiwan in 2010. She plans to attend Iowa State University to pursue her doctorate.

Daniel graduated from Mabel-Canton High School in 2003 and Winona State University in 2008. He will be an elementary teacher at the Ankeny School District.
An Oct. 9 wedding is planned at Unity Park, Winona.
