WELCOME - A Celebration of Life Service for Dale A. Mulso, 77, of Welcome, Minn., will be 10 a.m. Saturday, November 28, 2009, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Welcome, Minn., with Rev. Duane Miller officiating. Burial will be in Welcome City Cemetery in Welcome, Minn., with full military honors by the Welcome American Legion Post #553.

Dale died on Tuesday morning, November 24, 2009, at Fairmont Medical Center in Fairmont, Minn. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m Friday at the Kramer Family Funeral Home in Welcome and one hour prior to the services at the Church. Dale Alvin Mulso was born on October 26, 1932, to Carl and Anna (Lutt) Mulso in Wisner, Neb. At an young age he moved with his family to Ormsby, Minnesota, and attended school there. On November 7, 1950, Dale served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Walton until his honorable discharge on August 17, 1954. He returned to Welcome where he was a truck driver for Mulso Trucking. On July 20, 1963, he was united in marriage to Grace Ann Finke at Trinity Lutheran Church in Welcome, Minn. After their marriage they lived in Welcome where Dale was employed at a truck driver for Rosen's Inc., in Fairmont for over thirty years. He also was employed for Gaalswyk Farms doing farm work for over twenty-five years. Dale was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Welcome and was a member of Welcome American Legion Post #553. He greatly enjoyed working with wood, working in his garage, fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his wife, Grace Mulso of Welcome, Minn.; two sons, Jay (Beth) Mulso of Welcome, Minn., and David (Lynn) Mulso of Alden, Minn.; two grandsons, Timothy Mulso and Jordan Mulso; sister, Velma (Jake) Walters of Fairmont, Minn.; sister-in-law, Barbara (Aldean) Speckman of rural Fairmont, Minn.; nephews, Larry, Lynn and Lee Syverson, Gary, Mark, Craig and Todd Walters, John Speckman; and other relatives and friends.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Irene and her husband, Cliff Syverson; brother, Henry Mulso; mother and father-in-law, Elmer and Irene Finke and other relatives.
