FAIRMONT - Memorial service for Keith S. McKay, 24, of Fairmont will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont. Burial of ashes will follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Fairmont.
Keith passed away Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009, in Litchfield, Minn. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service at the Lakeview Funeral Home.
Keith Sully Ray was born on Jan. 7, 1985, in Pima, Ariz., the son of Wayne and Debbie Ray. He attended school in Salt Lake City, Utah and was adopted by Chris McKay when he was 8. They moved to Fairmont in 1997 and Keith attended school in Fairmont. While in Fairmont, Keith worked at Godfather's Pizza and Taco John's. He moved to Litchfield in August of this year and was working at Subway. Keith enjoyed drawing, singing, fishing and camping.
He is survived by his father, Chris McKay and special friend, Sandy Hall, of Fairmont; three brothers, Wayne McKay of Ormsby, Minn., Michael McKay of Truman, Minn., and Michael Field of Fort Drum, N.Y.; sister, Jennifer Minkkinen and her husband, Mika, and Jennifer's mother, Trish Pollard, of Florida, Nathan Leonard Hallam of Heber, Utah; grandparents, Jean McKay of Florida, James McKay and special friend, Mardy, of Faribault; girl friend, Amanda Dietz of Litchfield; other relatives and many friends.
