BLUE EARTH - Hillary Jo Altenburg and Andrew Oliver Slama were married June 20, 2009, at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Blue Earth. Father Mark McNea performed the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Michael and Karen Altenburg of Lewisville, and Jeffrey and Joan Slama of Winnebago.
Matron of honor was Andrea Berg of Lakeville, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Chantalle Buhl of Chicago, Danielle Munsterman and Carly Oles, both of Rochester, Ashley Schultz of St. Paul, Elizabeth Mattison of Nicollet and Morgan Helmers of Mankato, friends of the bride, and Lisa Jackson of Mankato, sister of the groom. Flowergirls were Emilee Vander Veen of Hartley, Iowa, cousin of the bride, and Madison Oelke of Winnebago, cousin of the groom. The bride's personal attendant was Amanda Rzeszutek of Maple Grove, friend of the bride.
Best man was Aaron Slama of Mankato, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Ryan Slama of Mankato, brother of the groom, Brian Staloch of Mankato, cousin of the groom, Michael Altenburg of Lewisville, brother of the bride, Clint Jones and Andrew Hervey, both of Winnebago, Michael Humburg of Mapleton and Adam Benson of Bloomington, friends of the groom. Ringbearer was Blake Altenburg of Truman, cousin of the bride.
Guests were ushered by Jeff Staloch of Mankato, cousin of the groom, Jim Grant of St. Paul, Tony Boehm of Mankato and Andrew Arndt of Roanoke, Va., friends of the groom.
Wedding music was performed by Nicole Howe, vocalist, and Lori Schock, organist.
A reception was held at Fairmont Holiday Inn.
The couple plan to live in Savage.
