I'm delighted to see the theater reopen and I hope the new owners can find a way to keep the costs down like the last operator. They can count on me being there.

If this new place is actually comparable to a place like Sherburn, I will be happy to go to the movies in Fairmont. If they charge an arm and a leg as per the usual, I'll continue to support Sherburn's non-profit theater.

Shame on Fairmont for ever letting it close. Glad to see it reopen

Great news for Fairmont! As a movie buff, I look forward to having another choice near by! Rather disappointing to read the grumpy responses to a new business opening which will be a big asset to the community.

Fairmont is a sad place sometimes.

It's about time. It's a little embarrassing because smaller towns (Sherburn, Jackson, Madelia) have theaters but not Fairmont.

Now i have a bad feeling this may fall under spamming or something but i live in Fairmont and would very much love to work at the Movie Theater but Can not seem to find a way to apply. Does anyone happen to know an email or other acceptable contact format i could inquire about a job?

About time the Big City gets a movie theater again. Sherburn seems to be able to keep one running, why can't the town of Fairmont?

Very happy to hear this. We live 30 miles away, but we frequently traveled to Fairmont to see a movie in the past. Now that the theater will be opening again, we plan to patronize the theater as often as we can. We are thrilled! Thanks for re-opening the theater.
