Retaining a urologist is easier than recruiting one I bet. Recruiting physicians to rural locations is harder for clinics that have high turnover, a reputation for terminating physicians, and a general problem keeping physicians. If only this article had addressed the underlying issues. I don't think that a shortage in the supply of well trained physicians had anything to do with this situation, though one wouldn't be able to tell that from this article.
