Wow, all I can say is our justice system is totally screwed up. I know a 12 year old who did something really stupid who will have a record for the rest of his life and this guy gets off with no more than a slap on the wrist! Do our county attorneys have no sense???

What has our justice system come to!!! We let felon’s go free with little or no repercussions for their actions and send misdemeanors to jail.

To those of you who think justice was not done, are you willing to pay taxes to keep an individual incarcerated for 20 years? Many of us made "missteps" when we were young, I know I did. And being on probation is no easy task, as one wrong move and you are "in the big house" for sure. Being a felon follows one for the rest of your life. Some folks won't be happy until there is a fence around Martin County and everyone is a felon...
