Wait a minute. Kids escape from YSI, steal a car, and then smash a cop car or two?!

And I read about it in the Sentinel weeks later only because Winnebago has to replace the squad car?

And you call this a newspaper? Geez.

Why is a Winnebago cop car in the parking lot of the Blue Earth McDonalds? Maybe the Winnebago police officer should have stayed in Winnebago that night? I know the youths were stopped north of the Vernon Center bridge. But I still think the town's only police officer on duty should "remain in town", maybe putting "stop strips" down...
