Why are they going to spend $30000 to upgrade chairs and an audio system for city council? If a lot of other community members use the space, then that is fine. I was under the impression though that the city council would use the funds available to update things community members actually use, not to help themselves.

Why are the trail meetings kept so secretive in this town? Why isn't it published when they are? Who are the members? Hiding in the shadows......

"Chief" sorry my spell correct fixed it for you. You also should check your facts. Some of the lots are getting their potholes fixed but due to the late snow they are behind.

my spelling error on my name was on purpose thank you. it comes from when I was a teenager playing video games online, one of my good friends was Scottish I spelt it exactly how he said it. so before you insult someone's grammar please think. I wouldn't have chosen this name if it wasn't on purpose. rock. and you know it should matter, the city should care about the properties that they claim in their city, maybe they should repair the pot holes in all of the local businesses parking lots, maybe they should purchase the cinema.

This coming from a guy that does not know how to spell chIEf, and if you are so young with so many ideas, I am sure the city council would love to hear them. The cinema is a private industry along with the mall, if the city helps them out, all the local businesses would want some hand outs also.

how about buying the cinema, and bringing back some fun filled family entertainment back to Fairmont, im personally getting tired of having to drive to either Mankato or Estherville to see a new movie. I would much rather like to support our economy instead of another city. how about we get on that, or how about public enforcement of pot holes in the Fairmont mall parking lot, how many cars receive damage because the owners are to lazy to properly fix them. How about we look at repairing what is making this town look bad instead of building stuff on the outskirts of town. come on city council, I'm half your age and I can come up with better ideas.
