I love how the author asks "why". It's almost as obvious as standing in a room that is on fire and pondering about how warm it is. After sending arms and planes to the region do you really think he wants to hunt "his" people down? Especially to bring them to justice? Nothing wrong happened at the Embassy. It pretty much went the way he wanted. He just doesn't have the mustard to tell anyone that. It really is a transparent administration, no one wants to believe it's that bad though.

C'mon. We knew the identity of the 9/11 mastermind on 9/11. It took ten years to get him; and Seal Team Six did. We read now and then of prison escapees who stay gone for decades, and Ten Most Wanted arrests after years.

It ain't TV. It ain't over in one hour. This is human game we're hunting; and that's the most resourceful.
