I don't understand how the opportunity to potentially organize is problematic. Considering only 14% of day care providers wish to organize by report here, the election to, let alone the actuality of unionizing, and all of the "evils" certain to result, won't occur. When did the very option of organizing become so very dangerous? I suspect the answer is "when money might show up on the wrong side of the table".

Julie is nothing but a RHINO and closet mouthpiece for progressive liberals. She is NOT to be trusted! Remember it was her and "legend in his own mind" Gutless Gunther who brought you a BILLION DOLLAR PRO FOOTBALL STADIUM IN MINNEAPOLIS! They wasted their time while in the majority, trying to see which one could kiss more progressive butt, than the other! They are jokes in real conservative circles and have no ability to get anything done except make sure they get "THEIRS"!!!

It is already a sad statement that we've become a two income family unit. Where children have to be raised by daycare centers, and parents have less and less time watching their kids grow up. But society is what is today. I have friends who have daycare aged children, and the price has gotten so high that it's cheaper for one of them to stay home with the kids than to send them to daycare.

This type of legislation has nearly become a non event in this state. Sadly. Those on the left are always bemoaning those evil "lobbyists" for the right. And then something like this ridiculous bill will get passed. Do you think it was the guy who cleans the bathrooms at the local fast food joint that started this little movement? Hardly. This is about one CLASS of people, the elitist's like Dayton and his cronies, FORCING their ideas and the Union's money on us. Thankfully this isn't an issue for me and with luck I can influence my nearly grown children to literally FLEE this state. Not only from the unions, but from the politicians that ignore 86% of the people that don't want the law that it will effect, but the "fine" folks that continue to elect these "special" people to represent them. I can't wait to start hearing the argument that this will help control daycare costs. I'm sure it's just around the corner. Good luck being able to afford OR finding
