"I always find it amazing that these assessors (or anyone that LIVES off of, or makes a living from tax funding) always whine when someone, anyone, but themselves recieves a break."
You didn't read the Star Tribune online over the weekend did you? There was a BIG write up about something that had to do w/ the ST and it future. Usually the ST is liberal, but they were up in arms about losing something.

"You are going to see inequities [if the bill passes]," Whitman said.
We have never seen inequities before, have we. Maybe we should do away with all subsidies. Those cause inequities. The entire ethanol industry is based on inequities.

I always find it amazing that these assessors (or anyone that LIVES off of, or makes a living from tax funding) always whine when someone, anyone, but themselves recieves a break. He mentions million gallon tanks being considered buildings. Here's a factoid for ya Dan. There is only ONE tank on the Fairmont site that is 1 million gallons. When are you people going to wake up and realize it's NOT your money. And speaking of YOUR money, how come the Whitman Residence is shown as an empty lot that doesn't show any size of lot (which is ON THE LAKE by the way) or the building in which you live in? I've never really understood that. But I'm sure, it would be an interesting story. Maybe you could chase that bit of fairness down for the county records and explain it further. But being a good gov't employee I'm sure there is a PERFECTLY reasonable story. You are, after all a member in good standing for the machine that demands fairness in all things right?
