At first, I was concerned, but fortunately she doesn't spook as easily as I did at that age. The show is done in a documentary style, not simply to "scare" viewers, and has been honest enough to even "debunk" some of their sightings/observations that were able to be explained away. Anyway, watching "Ghost Adventures" on Friday and Saturday nights has become our latest bonding time ritual. Looking up some more information on the show, I learned that the newest shows begin next month, and will kick off with a lockdown in the Wyoming Frontier Prison in Rawlins, Wyo., the town where I lived until I was a teen. I always knew there was something creepy about that place, and not just because it was a prison! It closed in 1981, and I remember the big deal that was made over it at the time. But I remember every time we drove by there - especially at night - I would get super creeped-out. Lots of my friends and acquaintances from Rawlins have their own ghost stories from that building, so it will be interesting to see what the "experts" find. At least it gives me something to look forward to in January! Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article.
