| | Niiice drugsDecember 31, 2012 - Jodelle GreinerDrugs are our friends. That’s what I’ve found out (again) after battling a cold all last week and losing. Such a simple thing, being able to breathe through your nose, but when you can’t do it, it’s quite exhausting. Felt like I was trying to breathe through a wet sponge. By Friday, I was done in, waved the white towel and went in for some medical help. The nurse practitioner said she’d been seeing a lot of people with colds that were hanging on for a good week. So, to everyone who has a cold and feels like it’s never going to end, it seems there’s a particularly potent strain of cold virus going around and you might need some help knocking it out. With that in mind, she gave me a heavy-duty dose of meds. I’m on my fourth day and feeling like I’ve at least battled the cold to a draw — although I still can’t breathe through my nose well. I reeeeaaalllly want to send this cold packing and get healthy for the New Year. I’ve got things to do in 2013! Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article.
