| | Scrub a little harderSeptember 16, 2011 - Kylie SaariI have spend a lot of time with school district officials lately. It is just my job — when they are busy, I am busy. And just a few weeks before school started, everyone was healthy for the most part. But about two days after school started I attended a meeting in which there was a lot of sniffling. By the meetings on day four it was outright sneezing and nose blowing. And this week, probably half the administrators have outright colds. And so do I. And so do my kids. I know this happens every year. Kids go to school, they come home sick. Then teachers, administrators, and all those around them start the first round of the winter ickies, of which we will see a lot more. I know everyone in my house washes their hands a lot, and I know we still got sick. I am guess the same is true everywhere else. So maybe, just for the sake of the community, we could just scrub a little harder when we are standing at the sink. I would like to not have this cold for the rest of winter.
