Speechless

It's strange to say I have writer's block, when I still manage to get out a story for the paper every day. I've always prided myself on being able to take just about anything and get something coherent for it. When I'm allowed to step outside the restrictions of journalism, I've always flourished. But I haven't had a good philosophical reflection or humorous insight (at least none that I can probably get away with for public consumption) for awhile now. Maybe because too much is happening. But I know there are a few things that need to be said.

1) To paraphrase an old quote, "Thank you for those who support me, for you give me strength. As for those who do not, you make me strong."

and 2) Nate - I'm so sorry we lost touch. My love, thoughts and prayers go out to your family and friends. Guess I'll see you on the other side...
