| | Tiny Tree ChristmasDecember 21, 2010 - Jodelle GreinerI’ve been seeing a really cute commercial lately. It shows an Asian woman picking out a Charlie Brown Christmas tree; she throws a party and her friends come over and hang ornaments on the tiny tree and they take pictures of her and her dog with it. It’s got a catchy tune about a “Tiny Tree Christmas”. But you know, I couldn’t for the life of me recall what the thing is trying to sell! I can picture that girl and her friends, see the party and the dog running around in a Santa hat and beard — but I could not recall any product or store that they might be promoting until I looked it up on www.google.com online. (It’s for Target, if you wanted to know.) The purpose of commercials is to make you remember them, but it’s hard for the creators to find that balance between making an ad that promotes the product and an ad that’s just memorable. It's a really cute commercial, though. Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article. Post a Comment | in: News, Blogs & Events Web |
