| | Scraping iceNovember 29, 2010 - Jodelle GreinerIt’s that lovely time of the year when you have to add 20 to 30 minutes to your travel time — not because of bad road conditions, but due to the time it takes you to scrape off your vehicle. I wouldn’t mind the scraping so much, but what I hate about it is the way the ice or frost seems to be glued to the windows AND YOU JUST CAN’T GET IT OFF! You know what I mean: you scrape off a few layers of the ice or frost, but there’s a thin film stuck right to the glass that just won’t let go, no matter how much pressure or what angle you use. I haven’t found a good way to take care of it, except turning on the car and running the heat full-blast to melt the stuff. If anybody’s got some good short cuts, I’d love to hear them. Unfortunately, I have a feeling we’ll be doing a lot of scraping for a while. Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article. Post a Comment | in: News, Blogs & Events Web |
