What an attitude!

I got to meet a real firecracker last week when I interviewed Lucinda Isenberg. She’ll be turning 95 this Thursday and asked her family and friends to donate stuff to Salvation Army instead of giving her presents. She gathered quite a haul on Saturday, and I’m not surprised after meeting her.

Not only is Lucinda still sharp as a tack, she’s got some pretty pointed opinions about different subjects. She’s also sweet and funny, and makes you think.

The world would be a lot better place if everybody had as good an attitude as Lucinda does.
