Sentinel available at Facebook, Twitter

The social networking site Facebook, along with the 140-character Web post site Twitter, have become mainstays of how Americans get connected and stay interconnected. The Sentinel has joined the party.

This week, we began offering links on our Web page to our Facebook and Twitter sites. Those who visit can get news updates, and subscribe to receive news from the Sentinel on a daily basis.

We encourage those of you with Facebook accounts to let your friends know about us, so that those who care about the Fairmont area — whether they are still living here or have moved away — can keep up with happenings in their home town.
