Spring? Is that you?

This morning, as I walked out the door, I found myself whistling in response to a bird. Later that day, my daughter stopped everything and ran to the window, yelling, "Look, Mommy, two squirels are fighting!" I did look, and I think we might have baby squirels pretty soon if that "fighting" was sucessful. And water is backing up into my garage.

Dare I say it? Is spring springing? Could it possibly be this never-ending, complaint-inducing, you-have-got-to-be-kidding-me winter is ending?!?

I'll keep my eye out, but my guess is it just might be.
