Time's a-flyin'

Don't fear dear readers, it has not escaped my notice that you have had no new news from me for narry a month! I have simply been pouring my heart and soul into covering this fair city of ours, and now our neighbors to the north, Truman, which has been added to my coverage area. But don't accept this as an excuse, because Lee certainly hasn't, and I pledge to keep you more abreast in the future. Since we last met in this blogosphere, many newsworthy events have gone without comment from me — Cole's new bike was one of my favorites. If you want to meet a family with a refreshing attitude toward adversity, talk to these folks. And let's not forget Jennifer Weaver-Niest's book about her great-uncle's untimely demise in WWII. A beautiful story; I hope you went to the reading. Looking ahead I have some good stuff out of Truman, if I get contacts made, and the weekend is looking promising in terms of summer festival fun!
