Olive Leaf Pantry

This little store tucked away on Blue Earth Avenue opened this week. I had been eagerly awaiting its opening since hearing about it in the Sentinel last month. The store is has many brands of foods that are missing major allergens, in this case, many of the foods are gluten free. They carry Enjoy Life, Kinnickinick, Namaste, and others. Soy, rice, and hemp milk are available, along with a very difficult to find item - rice yogurt. The owner said she was willing to special order anything she can that is requested. I am pleased to see this niche market is being addressed in Fairmont; if you have been reading my blog for long, you know my family suffers from food allergies. This will save a lot of people a lot of driving.
