Thanks, donors, volunteers
To the Editor:
Blood donations typically drop from Thanksgiving through New Year’s. Thanks to the donors who came to donate in spite of the cold and windy weather. Here are the results from the December blood drive:
o Tuesday, Dec. 6 — 102 units collected with a goal of 121 units
o Wednesday, Dec. 7 — 86 units collected with a goal of 96 units
o Thursday, Dec. 8 — 62 units collected with a goal of 49 units
In total, 235 units were collected on the goal of 279. Thank you to all the blood donors who answered the call to come and donate. Special thank you to all the volunteers:
Thanks to all the long-time volunteers and the new volunteers who have answered the call for greeter and canteen volunteers.
