William “Bill” Cagle was born Sept. 30, 1955, to Wayne and Carol in California. When he was 6 months old, they moved to Madelia, MN, where he went to school until he was 15. At age 15, he moved to Alma, AK, and finished his high school education there.

He was an incredibly hard worker, always working with his hands. He worked on a barge, built houses and then became a plant engineer, which he made into a career for over 30 years, finishing at Smithfield Foods in St. James, MN.

Bill met the love of his life, Cindy, while working at the House of Print in 1991. They were married on July 3, 1992, and were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Hilary and Danielle.

Bill loved to hunt, fish, and tinker in his garage and on his vehicles in his spare time. He was a huge Minnesota sports fan and loved to watch his girls play sports, always serving as their loudest cheerleader in the stands. He was extremely passionate about his family, faith and work.

Left to cherish his memory are wife Cindy; daughters Hilary (Joshua) Day and Danielle (significant other Max Burley); and Toby, his beloved fur baby. Father-in-law Roger (Nadine) Quade; brother-in-law Roger (Pam) Quade; sisters-in-law, Chris (Tim) Wohlford, Deanna (Dave) Becker, Julie (Brian) Suter, Kathy (Jeff) Haas and LeAnn Harries; grandmother, Lorraine Rohman; nieces and nephews, Marcus Quade, Ashley (Peter) Hernandez, Jared (Kelly) Wohlford, Bethany (Bryce) Scott, Karen and Megan Suter, Sam, Sara and Emma Haas; and great nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Carol Quade; and other relatives and friends.
