At the age of 2 years, she lost both of her parents 10 days apart from typhoid fever, which she had as well. After she recovered, she went to live with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Rudebeck, who later moved to Richville, Minn. Agnes was baptized Dec. 6, 1917, at Immanuel Lutheran Church by Rev. Soeldner. She attended school in Richville and Perham, Minn. She returned to Fairmont in 1935. Agnes was then confirmed by Rev. Zemke on May 21, 1936, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Fairmont.

She taught Sunday school there until she was married to Ellrich Fritz on Nov. 28, 1937, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wilbert by Rev. E.H.T. Walther. The family made their home on a farm south of Wilbert until March 1946, when they moved to Grover, Colo. They and the family then moved to Pine Bluffs, Wyo., in 1949. Agnes taught Sunday school and summer Bible school and was a member of the Ladies Aid at Grace Lutheran Church. In March 1953, Agnes and Ellrich along with their family moved back to Tenhassen Township.

She was a 4-H leader for 25 years and held many offices in ladies aid and was a member of L.L.L and L.W.M.L. Agnes made baptismal napkins for her church for 25 years.
