Early Risers to hold Wednesday meeting
Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. The program this week will feature Mat Mahoney, activities director at Fairmont Jr./Sr. High School, who will provide an update on all Fairmont sports programs for the year. The public is invited to attend.
United Methodist plans Wednesday supper
Fairmont United Methodist Church will have a supper from 5-6 p.m. Wednesday at the church, 119 E. Second St., Fairmont. The menu will consist of tacos with all the fixings, jello, fruit, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, homemade desserts and beverages. A donation of $2 is suggested. Everyone is welcome.
Veterans Memorial meeting planned
The monthly committee meeting for the Martin County Veterans Memorial is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday at 95 Downtown Plaza, Fairmont. All Martin County veterans and veterans’ family members, or interested public, may attend.
Disabled veterans to meet Thursday
Disabled American Veterans Chapter 32 and its auxiliary will meet 6 p.m. Thursday at the National Guard Armory in Fairmont.
MOSS sets Thursday meeting
MOSS (Many Offerings of Special Support) will meet 6 p.m. Thursday at Fairmont Holiday Inn. The group is working to bring the Adventure Playground to Fairmont. The public is invited.
