CEYLON — Ceylon City Council will meet 6 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall. All members are urged to attend.

There’s a time for public comment at the beginning of each meeting. If anyone needs to be on the regular agenda, please contact the city clerk prior to the meeting.

Ceylon Legion and Sons of the Legion will meet 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Legends 2/Legion building. All members are urged to attend.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wilbert reminds reporters to give reports to Pastor Reimers by Sunday.

The church council will meet this coming Thursday and the voters meeting is scheduled for Jan. 21. Circle the date and plan to attend.

Friendly Neighbors Card Club will meet 1:30 p.m. Friday at the home of Kathryn Detert. All members are encouraged to attend.

Congratulations to Lola and Lawrence Schultze from the Ceylon/Wilbert area who celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary Jan. 2. Our wish is for many more anniversaries.

If anyone wants to run for supervisor or clerk of the townships, please contact the clerk in your township by Jan. 16. Think about serving.
