o The cribbage tournament in Welcome is held on the third Saturday of each month. They have so much fun that some players would like to start a tournament in Ceylon on the second Saturday of the month. Play at the first session will begin 1:15 p.m. Dec. 9 at the Legends2/Legion Building. Help spread the word to all those who love to play cribbage.

o A benefit pancake feed and bake sale will be held 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Dec. 16 at Martin County West High School in Sherburn. Proceeds will help Rachel Schafer with expenses incurred during her illness and surgeries.
