Garrett W. Kopka, 20, of Kasota; fined $145.

Failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle — Jonas S. Gonsalez, 20, of Kiester; fined $110.

Move over law violation-two lanes in same direction — Karen K. Perry, 60, of Fertile, Iowa; fined $135.

Lora L. Persky, 36, of Fairmont received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of identity theft-transfer/possess/use identity of another person; fined $847.50, restitution $847.50, sentenced to jail 358 days, credit for time served 358 days, one day unsupervised probation, pay transportation costs to Faribault County Sheriff’s office to be deducted from cash bail posted. Also received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; sentenced to jail 358 days, credit for time served 358 days, one day unsupervised probation. Two additional felony charges of fifth-degree controlled substance possession, and one additional misdemeanor charge of identity theft-transfer/possess/use identity of other person, were all dismissed.

Nicolas L. Hubbard, 37, of Wells was convicted of driving while under the influence of alcohol; fined $610, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 88 days for one year, credit for time served two days, one year supervised probation, complete chemical assessment, follow all recommendations of assessment, random testing, attend MADD impact panel, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if you’ve been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if you change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by your probation officer, sign all releases of information, give DNA sample when directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law. Additional charge of driving while under the influence of alcohol was dismissed.

Timothy L. Christian, 51, of Winnebago had a charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession continued for dismissal; six months unsupervised monitoring without conviction, take medications in the prescribed dosage and frequency, remain medication compliant, see mental health professionals as required, no same or similar.
