Limited time parking zone violation — Heidi L. Thomas, 32, of Amboy; fined $47.

Failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle — Rainy M. Patricca, 47, of Fairmont; fined $25.

Jason L. Herold, 40, of Elmore; Brandon T. Miller, 31, of Tea, S.D.; each fined $110;

Window tint violation-less than 50 percent light transmittance — Neil R. Kuchenbecker, 66, of Alpha; fined $135.

Stephanie Rojas Rosado, 24, of Fairmont was convicted of uninsured vehicle-owner violation; fined $200. Also convicted of driving without a valid drivers license or vehicle class/type; fined $185.

Jesse L. Mendenhall, 28, of Trimont was convicted of driver who’s not owner must later produce proof of insurance if required; fined $200. Also convicted of operate vehicle with expired registration; fined $115.

Jose N. Briseno, 28, of Fairmont was convicted of theft-take/use/transfer movable property without consent; fined $185, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar.

Chad P. Meyer, 46, of Spirit Lake, Iowa was convicted of third-degree driving while impaired-refuse to submit to chemical test; fined $885, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 363 days for two years, credit for time served two days, two years supervised probation, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing at the request of law enforcement or probation agent, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, remain law-abiding, attend MADD impact panel, attend Alcoholics Anonymous at least once per week, follow all conditions set forth in the probation agreement, follow all state and federal criminal laws, report to agent as directed, advise agent prior to changing employment and/or residence, cooperate and be truthful with agent in all matters, notify agent if arrested and/or issued a summons, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, don’t ship/transport/possess/receive firearms or ammunition if prohibited by law. Additional charges of fourth-degree driving while impaired-operate motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, and possession of open bottle, were both dismissed.

Lisa M. Rivera, 40, of Fairmont received a statutory stay of adjudication on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $1,185, sentenced to jail 21 days, credit for time served 21 days, five years supervised probation, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing at the request of your agent or a licensed peace officer, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all conditions set forth in the probation agreement, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if you’ve been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if you change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by your probation officer, sign all releases of information, give DNA sample when directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Additional charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed.
