Pedro D. Gutierrez-Torres, 23, of Mapleview was convicted of driving without a valid drivers license or vehicle class/type; fined $185. Also convicted of speeding; fined $40.

Posadas Pineda E. Aldolfo, 33, of Sioux Falls, S.D., was convicted of speeding; fined $145. Also convicted of no Minnesota drivers license (after 60 days residency/30 days CDL); fined $100.

David R. Litzau, 27, of Sioux Falls, S.D., was convicted of speeding; fined $125. Also convicted of child passenger restraint system not equipped and installed; fined $50.

Megan L. Petersen, 16, of Easton was convicted of no cell phone use by provisional driver; fined $135. Also convicted of failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle; fined $25.

Mara A. Jensen, 27, of Minneapolis was convicted of third-degree driving while impaired-one aggravating factor; fined $865, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 365 days for two years, two years supervised probation, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, Attend MADD impact panel, no alcohol violations, comply with ignition interlock program. Additional charge of second-degree driving while impaired-refuse to submit to chemical test was dismissed.

Elmer J. Zavala Guevara, 39, of St. Peter was convicted of driving after revocation; fined $285. Also convicted of uninsured vehicle-driver violation; fined $200.



Nika R. Diekmann, 27, of Fairmont received a stay of adjudication on a charge of domestic assault-intentionally attempt to inflict bodily harm on another; fined $100, sentenced to jail five days, credit for time served five days, one year unsupervised monitoring without adjudication, no contact with victim(s) except to have couple’s counseling, no same or similar, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing.

Terry L. Dietz, 51, of Fairmont was convicted of junk-other than weeds and grass; fined $160, sentenced to jail 30 days, stayed 30 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar, keep property cleaned up. Additional charge of prohibited home occupations was dismissed.

Catherine M. Jensen, 50, of Mapleton had a charge of issue dishonored check-offense continued for dismissal; fined $168, restitution $68, six months unsupervised monitoring without adjudication, pay restitution, no same or similar.

Timothy D. Jordan, 38, of Winnebago was convicted of theft-take/use/transfer movable property without consent; sentenced to jail 30 days, serve as work release if eligible, concurrent with other case.
