Joseph M. Gehring, 25, of listed as homeless, was convicted on a felony charge of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon; fined $1,085, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 21 months, stayed for seven years, sentenced to jail 180 days, credit for time served 80 days, serve as work release if eligible, seven years supervised probation, complete residential treatment and follow aftercare recommendations, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, no contact with victim(s), no assaultive behavior, may perform STS for financial obligations, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if you’ve been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if you change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign all releases of information, give DNA sample when directed, do not use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, do not register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Also convicted on a felony charge of theft of motor vehicle; fined $1,085, restitution $1,000, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 13 months, stayed for five years, sentenced to jail 180 days, credit for time served 80 days, may be furloughed from jail for treatment, five years supervised probation, pay restitution, complete treatment, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, no contact with victim(s), obtain permission from agent before leaving the state. Also convicted on a felony charge of theft of a firearm; sentenced to jail 90 days, credit for time served 80 days.

Jennifer M. Rice, 40, of Easton was convicted of driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety; fined $835, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 365 days for two years, two years unsupervised probation, no same or similar, no DAC, DAS, or DAR violations.

Thomas W. Bowen, 39, of Menomonie, Wis. received a stay of adjudication on a charge of driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety; fined $585, one year probation to the court, no same or similar, no DAC, DAS, or DAR violations.

Haakon B. Johnson, 20, of Blue Earth was convicted of possession of small amount of marijuana-no remuneration; fined $135. Also convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia; fined $50.
