Brian M. Ehlert, 46, of Bricelyn was convicted of third-degree driving while impaired-one aggravating factor; fined $865, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 89 days for one year, credit for time served one day, two years supervised probation, chemical dependency evaluation/treatment, follow all recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol violations, attend MADD impact panel.
Timothy Joseph K. Cochran, 33, of St. Cloud was convicted of no Minnesota drivers license; fined $185. Additional charge of no proof of motor vehicle insurance was dismissed.
Kara M. Pengilly, 44, of Rake, Iowa received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of second-degree controlled substance sales-in school/park/public housing zone; fined $1,085, sentenced to jail 53 days, credit for time served 53 days, 25 years supervised probation, sentence to service 40 hours for one year, chemical use assessment including treatment and aftercare, follow all recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if you’ve been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if you change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by your probation officer, sign all releases of information, give DNA sample when directed, do not use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, do not register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Additional felony charge of third-degree controlled substance possession-in school/park/public housing zone, was dismissed.
Linda L.
