Adam C. Lund, 26, of Granada received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of theft-take/use/transfer movable property without consent; sentenced to jail 48 days, credit for time served 48 days, 10 years supervised probation, sentence to service 10 days for indeterminate, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, do aftercare, follow recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, cognitive skill training, obtain employment, maintain employment, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if you’ve been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if you change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by your probation officer, sign all releases of information, give DNA sample when directed, do not use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, do not register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Additional felony charges of third-degree burglary, possession of stolen property, and theft of motor vehicle, were all dismissed.

Thomas J. Chavez, 49, of Welcome received a stay of adjudication on a felony charge of theft-take/use/transfer movable property without consent; fined $125, restitution $125, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 15 months, stayed for five years, sentenced to jail 24 days, credit for time served 24 days, remain in jail until bed available for treatment, five years supervised probation, sentence to service 10 days for indeterminate, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, go to counseling until discharged by therapist, no alcohol/controlled substance use, random testing, take medications in prescribed dosage and frequency, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, pay restitution, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if you’ve been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if you change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by your probation officer, sign all releases of information, give DNA sample when directed, do not use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Also was convicted of driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours; sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 341 days for two years, credit for time served 24 days, two years supervised probation, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, go to counseling until discharged by therapist, no alcohol/controlled substance use, random testing, take medications in prescribed dosage and frequency, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, attend MADD impact panel, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if you’ve been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if you change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by your probation officer, sign all releases of information, give DNA sample when directed, do not use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional charges of driving while under the influence of alcohol, and driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety, were both dismissed.
