FAIRMONT — Trista Ayers and Ben Nickolay were married Oct. 15, 2017, at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chaska. The ceremony was officiated by Audrey Kingstrom, humanist celebrant.

Parents of the couple are Roger and Theresa Ayers of Fairmont, Tony and Lisa Nickolay of Wayzata.

Trista graduated from Fairmont High School and Mankato State University in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biology. She works as an analytical chemist for 3M Corporate in St. Paul.

Ben graduated from Minnetonka Senior High School and the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical design. He works as an applications engineer for Stratasys Corporate in Eden Prairie.

A reception was held in Snyder Auditorium at Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chaska.

The couple live in Bloomington.
