FAIRMONT – Kristin Ann Struss and Joshua David Bliven were married Nov. 15, 2014, at Wesley United Methodist Church in Sioux City, Iowa. Dr. Bruce Forbes performed the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Brian and Ann Struss of Fairmont, and Larry and Patty Bliven of Sioux City, Iowa.

Matron of honor was Ashley Bortscheller of Alton, Iowa, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amanda Smith of Fairmont, Sarah Schwarten of McCook Lake, S.D., Emily Morris of Cedar Springs, Mich., and Sarah Wendler of Waukee, Iowa, all friends of the bride.

Best man was Rafael Arreola of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Jason Struss of San Diego, Calif., brother of the bride, Dustin Bliven of Decorah, Iowa, cousin of the groom, Chris Jackson and Matt Bennett, both of Sioux City, Iowa, friends of the groom.

Guests were ushered by Jacob Luhmann of Loveland, Colo., cousin of the bride, Adam Bliven of Sioux City, Iowa, cousin of the groom, and Mike Billiet of Sioux City, Iowa, friend of the groom.

Wedding music was provided by Jeannette Kinney, pianist, and Kristina McGrain, vocalist.

A reception was held at Emma’s Event Center in Sioux City.

The couple live in Sioux City.
