Blood drive planned Monday in Welcome

American Red Cross will hold a blood drive from noon to 6 p.m. Monday at St. Paul United Church of Christ, 214 N. Dugan St., in Welcome. For appointments, call (800) 733-2767, register online at www.redcrossblood.org or download the Blood Donor App and enter sponsor code WelcomeMN. Blood donors of all types are needed.

Library to host ‘Sweet Treats and Reads’

Children in grades 3-6 are invited to join library staff for Sweet Treats and Reads at 4 p.m. Monday at the Martin County Library, 110 N. Park St., in Fairmont. They will have treats, book-related activities and talk about new books that are exciting to read. This event is free and no registration is required.

Relay for Life sets Monday meeting

2019 Relay for Life of Martin County committee and team captains meeting will be 5:30 p.m. Monday in the main meeting room at Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont. All applicable members are encouraged to attend.
