Exchange Club to meet today

Fairmont Exchange Club will meet noon today at Green Mill Restaurant, Fairmont. The program will feature Troy Nemmers, director of Public Works for the city of Fairmont. United Methodist slates Wednesday supper

Fairmont United Methodist Church will host a supper from 5-6 p.m. Wednesday at the church, 119 E. Second St., Fairmont. The menu will consist of creamed chicken and biscuits, lettuce salad, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, donated desserts and beverages. A donation of $2 is suggested. Everyone is welcome.

First Congregational plans free meal

The Finance Board of First Congregational United Church of Christ will sponsor a free community meal beginning 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church, 319 Downtown Plaza, Fairmont. The meal will be tacos in a bag with all the fixings. All are welcome.

Aktion Club Theatre sets Thursday meeting

Aktion Club Theatre, part of Kiwanis International, will meet 4:30-6 p.m. Thursday in the basement of Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont. The public is invited to attend any of the group’s theatrical practices. Those needing a ride or who have questions about the group may call Pat Kietzer at (507) 848-5017 or the Arc office at (507) 235-8580.

IHD committee to hold Thursday meeting

Interlaken Heritage Days committee will meet 6 p.m. Thursday at the Pizza Ranch in Fairmont. Those interested in helping or who have ideas for the 2019 festival are invited to attend. If organizations would like to host an activity during IHD weekend, their representatives are invited to come and share ideas. Everyone is invited.

St. Martin’s to host luncheon fundraiser

Thrivent Action Team of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in Fairmont will host a soup luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the church, 102 N. Park St., in Fairmont. Proceeds will benefit Heaven’s Table Food Shelf. Everyone is invited to attend.
