Genealogical Society to meet Saturday

Martin County Genealogical Society will meet 9 a.m. Saturday at the Pioneer Museum, 304 E. Blue Earth Ave., Fairmont. Members and anyone interested in genealogy may attend. B.E. Senior Center plans fundraiser

Blue Earth Senior Center will hold a fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the facility at 118 W. Seventh St. in Blue Earth. A meal that includes baked potato bar, homemade soup and dessert will be served for a donation. There also will be a bake sale. All proceeds will help support the senior lunch program at the center. Everyone is welcome.

Valley Quilters set Monday meeting

Blue Earth Valley Quilters will meet 7 p.m. Monday in the Blue Earth Area High School choir room. Please enter through door “V” on the south side of the building. The program will be presented by Susan Wilkinson, owner of Prairie Pride Quilts, which recently opened in Madelia. Anyone interested in this group may attend.
