Eagles to hold fish and commercial suppers

Fairmont Eagles club will host an all-you-can-eat pollock supper from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Fairmont Eagles Club, 1228 W. Lake Ave., Fairmont. Fish will be prepared with a choice of steamed, pan-fried or deep-fried. The meal will also include baked potato, French fries, hashbrowns or tatertots, French bread, salads, coffee and water. The cost is $10. Regular menu also available. Part of the proceeds will be used for local charities. Also, there will be a beef or turkey commercial meal from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the Fairmont Eagles Club. The cost for full meal is $8, and the cost for half will be $5. Take-outs are available by calling (507) 238-2555. Part of the proceeds will be used for local charities. All are invited.

Toddler Tinker Lab at Martin County Library

A Toddler Tinker Lab will be held 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Fairmont Library, 110 N. Park St., Fairmont. The “lab” is designed to allow toddlers to explore, grow and create with a variety of activities. The best part? Leave the mess behind at the library. No registration is required. This event is free and open to the public. With questions, call the library at (507) 238-4207.

Trick or Eat’ food collection planned

It’s time for the annual “Trick or Eat” food collection sponsored by Martin County Area churches. Youth from local churches will be collecting non-perishable food items from the Fairmont community 5-7 p.m. Wednesday. All food donations collected will benefit local food shelves. Everyone is urged to participate for a great cause.
