Church plans community breakfast

First United Methodist Church in Winnebago will host a community breakfast from 8-10 a.m. Saturday at the Winnebago Community Center. Pancakes with syrup, sausage, juice, milk and coffee will be served. This is a free community breakfast to serve the community and build relationships. All are welcome.

East Chain church plans coffee party

East Chain United Methodist Church will host its monthly community coffee party from 8:30-11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Rolls, donuts, coffee, tea, and juice will be served. Donations accepted. Everyone is welcome.

Korean vets to meet

Korean veterans will meet 9 a.m. Saturday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. All Korean War veterans are invited.

Knights to host pork loin dinner

Fairmont Knights of Columbus will host its 22nd annual pork loin dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 920 E. 10th St. Fairmont. Money raised this year will go toward the Fairmont Adventure Playground. The menu will include grilled pork loin, baked beans, baked potato, chips, applesauce, bars, ice cream and beverage. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children, ages 6-12, while kids 5 and under eat for free. Tickets are available from any Knights of Columbus member as well as any of the Adventure Playground Task Force members. Tickets will also be sold at the door. Everyone is invited.
