Exchange Club to meet today

Fairmont Exchange Club will meet noon today at the Green Mill Restaurant, Fairmont. The program will feature Tony Roesner of Fairmont, who will talk about Fishing for Kids. Early Risers to hold Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. The program this week will feature Joe Brown, Superintendent, Fairmont Area Schools. The public is invited to attend.

United Methodist plans Wednesday supper

Fairmont United Methodist Church will have a supper from 5-6 p.m. Wednesday at their church, 119 E. 2nd St., Fairmont. The menu will consist of scalloped potatoes and ham, green beans, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, homemade desserts and beverages. A donation of $2 is suggested. Everyone is welcome.

Veterans Memorial meeting slated Wednesday

The monthly meeting for the Martin County Veterans Memorial is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday at 95 Downtown Plaza in Fairmont. All Martin County veterans and/or veterans’ family members, or interested public are encouraged to attend so you can see what’s being planned and how you can give tribute to our veterans of Martin County.

Library to host teen anti-Valentine party

Teens are invited to join library staff for an anti-Valentine’s party from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Fairmont Library, 110 N. Park St., Fairmont. Come and bring a friend to this quirky event. For safety, the doors will remain locked throughout the event. There is no cost to attend and no registration is required. With questions, call the library at (507) 238-4207.
